MIDAS Council of Governments does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, gender, age, or disability. No person will be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance. MIDAS further assures every effort will be made to ensure nondiscrimination in all of its programs and activities, regardless of whether those programs and activities are federally funded.
If you feel you have been discriminated against, please file a complaint with MIDAS.  Complaints must be filed using the MIDAS complaint form within 10 days of the alleged discrimination. Complains may also be filed with the US Department of Transportation/Federal Transit Administration at Office of Civil Rights, Attention: Title VI Program Coordinator, East Building, 5th Floor-TCR, 1200 New Jersey Ave., SE, Washington, DC 20590 or the Iowa Department of Transportation Civil Rights Bureau at (515) 509-8814.
